We’re preparing to film Almost Trying tentatively April 19–30, 2027. If the schedule shifts, all donated funds will carry forward and be used for the rescheduled production. We’ll keep you updated along the way, and we appreciate you being part of the film.

We’re making Almost Trying, an independent dramatic comedy set in the Great Smoky Mountains, and we’re inviting you to be part of it.
We’re raising an additional $15,000 to round out our production funding and put more into the movie—from the people and places on screen to the sound, editing, and finishing touches.
